Outdoor kitchens, answered
The questions our Toronto studio hears most — from homeowners, interior designers and builders across the GTA.
Where is Capo Cuòco's Canadian showroom?
Our Canadian studio is at 680 Caledonia Rd, Toronto, ON M6E 4V9 — visits are by appointment. Call (416) 239-3556 or email info@igneferro.com to book.
Which areas do you serve?
We plan and install across the Greater Toronto Area — Toronto, North York, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Oakville and King City — and take on projects across Ontario and the rest of Canada.
Can an outdoor kitchen survive a Canadian winter?
Yes. Every kitchen is built from marine-grade, powder-coated aluminum or 316 stainless steel with sealed soft-close hardware — engineered to live outside 365 days a year, through snow, salt and sun.
How much does a custom outdoor kitchen cost?
Every Capo Cuòco kitchen is made to order, so pricing depends on size, finishes, countertops and the appliances you choose. Consultations are complimentary and pricing is provided as a detailed quotation.
What sizes are available?
UNICA comes in 210, 240, 270 and 300 cm widths, plus fully custom linear, L-shaped and U-shaped compositions drawn to your site. STRATO and CSL are configured module by module.
Which finishes and countertops can I choose?
Cabinet finishes include Wenge, White, Linen and Mist. Countertops: 316-grade stainless steel, porcelain and ultra-compact slabs from Italy and Spain, granite, or hand-cast concrete.
Can you integrate my grill and appliances?
Yes — the cabinetry is engineered with dedicated enclosures for professional built-in gas grills, smokers, pizza ovens, refrigeration, beer taps and ice-makers, with ventilation built into the modules.
Who designs the collections?
UNICA and CSL are drawn by Capo Cuòco's in-house design team; STRATO was designed with Studio Segers, the Belgian studio behind some of Europe's most quietly influential outdoor furniture.
Do you work with designers, architects and builders?
Constantly — trade is our core clientele. We provide specification support, drawings, samples, site measures and scheduling with your build. See our page for designers and builders.
How does the process work?
Three steps: plan (a private consultation and site measure), manufacture (your kitchen is made to order as one composition) and install (turn-key delivery and installation by our Canadian team).
How long does a project take?
Kitchens are manufactured to order, so timelines depend on configuration and are confirmed with your quotation. Once modules arrive, installation is typically completed within days.
Do you make indoor kitchens too?
No — Capo Cuòco is dedicated entirely to outdoor kitchens. That single focus is why the engineering, materials and hardware hold up outside year-round.
Who distributes Capo Cuòco kitchens in Canada?
Igne Ferro — Toronto’s architectural fireplace and outdoor-living studio — is Capo Cuòco’s Canadian distributor. Consultation, distribution and installation run through their studio at 680 Caledonia Rd, Toronto; reach the team at info@igneferro.com or (416) 239-3556.
Do I need a permit or a licensed gas installer for an outdoor kitchen in Ontario?
Gas appliances in Ontario must be connected by TSSA-registered contractors with licensed gas technicians, and electrical work falls under the ESA. Depending on your municipality and the scope of site work, a building permit may apply. Turn-key installation coordinates the licensed trades required, so the kitchen arrives compliant.
Do you build outdoor kitchens for cottages and lakefront properties?
Yes. Marine-grade aluminum and 316 stainless steel are the same specification boats rely on, so lakefront wind, spray and shoulder-season swings are exactly what the construction is for. We regularly take on projects across Ontario, including cottage country, beyond our core Toronto and GTA service areas.
What makes Capo Cuòco different from other outdoor kitchen companies in Toronto?
Most outdoor kitchens in the GTA are either assembled from multi-brand catalogue cabinets or built from masonry on site. Capo Cuòco is a single-brand system: every kitchen is designed, manufactured to order and installed as one architectural composition in marine-grade aluminum and 316 stainless steel, by one team, with quote-only pricing.
Where can I see a Capo Cuòco kitchen in person?
At our Canadian studio, 680 Caledonia Rd, Toronto — visits are by appointment. Call (416) 239-3556 or email info@igneferro.com and we'll arrange a time to walk through the collections, finishes and countertop samples.
